ONE EARTHLING'S OPINION

Number ten.

Resident Bush believes it is his "duty to free the world."

Free the World???

Is he serious? Free them, how? By marching armies into other countries and aiming AK47s in the faces of innocent civilians and sending armored tanks into their streets? By blowing the limbs off of 3-year-olds?

This is going to "free" them? And just how is it going to do that?

Well, perhaps it depends upon one's definition of the word.

"Free."

Hmmm... Nope. Not my definition, apparently. Please! Someone get the man a dictionary.

Then again, perhaps the meaning of the word changed when I wasn't looking? Or, Resident Bush just decided to re-write it? To suit his twisted agenda? I'm sorry, but George W. Bush - Mr. "Who are you talking to?" - in all his brain- damaged and self-important arrogance, just doesn't get to do that.

And I find this most recent declaration more than a bit disturbing. A man, who admittedly is no intellectual and who also admittedly has disdain for the intellectual community (the "fancy pants elite" he says) - believes it is his duty to free the world. ??? He doesn't have two functioning brain cells and he can't even pronounce the word "nuclear" and he can't answer a basic question (nevermind a reasonably intelligent one) without faltering unless someone else has already written out the answer and put it right in front of him (and even then he has difficulty) - and he really believes he is supposed to free the world??? Oh, please God if he is the chosen one we need to have a serious talk.

What the hell is going on in this guy's head? Not much, as anyone with even half-a-clue surely acknowledges by now - but, heavens - what is in there is certainly in need of some attention.

The man is clearly delusional.

I think it is important to align this statement with two others that have come stammering out of Mr. Bush's mouth. The first, that "God" told him to invade Iraq. The second, that when asked how history would remember this war, he replied that we wouldn't know because we would all be dead.

??? What?

First of all, that "God" told him to invade Iraq? God? Really? He thinks God told him to fly warplanes into their skies and march soldiers into their streets and start blowing everything up? To kill other human beings? And to have our own soldiers killed in the process? To leave wives without husbands and husbands without wives and children without fathers and mothers and mothers and fathers without sons and daughters and brothers and sisters without brothers and sisters and friends without friends and lovers without lovers and leave human beings lying dead in the streets all blown to hell? God told him to do that???

Well, there must be some other God out there that I don't know about. And ironically, it seems that George W. Bush listens to the same "God" that the terrorists do who believe God will reward them for flying airplanes into buildings and driving trucks filled with explosives into whatever they can slam them into and killing as many human beings as possible in one day.

Just what "God" is this? It sure as hell isn't mine.

But, apparently, Resident Bush and the terrorists are listening to the same "God" - except that even the Pope, in reference to Bush stating that "God" told him to invade Iraq, said that wasn't God.

Yeah. "God" told him. And to spend billions of dollars to do it? Billions - that could be spent to feed, shelter, clothe, educate, and care for people in this country who desperately need it? What - they don't count? "God" told him?

Now, the second statement. That we won't know how history will see this war because we will all be dead.

We will all be dead???

Really? That soon? And by saying "we," he includes himself? Thus saying, considering Resident Bush has been on this earth for almost sixty years - that "we," the human race, will be gone in the next twenty to thirty-something years?

Put these three statements together and the picture is quite disturbing.

"God" told him to invade Iraq, It is his "duty to free the world." And we won't know how history will see this war because we will all be dead. (And soon - within the next twenty to thirty-something years).

???

To say this has religious connotations would be a huge understatement.

Does George W. Bush believe he is the Messiah? The Second Coming?

Who the hell put that idea into his twisted little head?

This man, who is nothing more than a puppet for Corporate America, appears to believe he is some kind of Messiah?

Really?

More likely the Anti-Christ who Nostradamus wrote about in this one humble earthling's opinion.

I have to wonder if the individuals who are really running the country - Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove, and the powers driving the Corporate Interests of America - haven't put this idea into Resident Bush's feeble little head. Yes, Mr. President, you must free the world! God is calling you! And then closing the door behind them and laughing their asses off as they reap the financial rewards of stealing foreign oil and handing out lucrative contracts to rebuild the raped and ravaged cities - having convinced their little puppet man that he is actually doing the right thing.

Or did he ordain himself the Holy Savior all by himself?

This war monger? This inept-little-puppet-man for the Corporate Powers of America? One has to wonder about both the origin of this and the mindset that goes along with it.

George W. Bush the Messiah... Gee... Who knew?

People, we are in big trouble. Ignorance is one thing. Arrogance is another. And this - this is downright scary.

If George W. Bush honestly believes he is going to "free the world" with machine guns and army tanks - we have much to be concerned about - for we really are in deeply serious trouble.

Which country is "God" going to tell him to invade next? It's a big planet. Many counties are run by inhumane Dictators under whose doctrine its citizens are oppressed. But I am willing to bet that the only oppressed countries Resident Bush will seek to "free" are those with resources ripe for stealing that will benefit the pockets of Corporate America. And whether it is Mr. Bush, or the real minds behind these endeavors that facilitate their enactment - the result of such endeavors can only serve to destroy the world as we know it.

Free The World - hardly. This is about Money. This is about Greed. And this is about the arrogance of one little puppet man who is willing to believe he is some kind of righteous Savior. And the combination is dangerous.

Free The World??? So says the little puppet man.

Free? Or overthrow, dominate, and destroy it?

And God? Well, my God is the Creator of Life, the Creator of Love, and the Great Teacher of Humanity.

But the so-called "God" worshipped by terrorists and whose orders Resident Bush pretends to follow?

Well, I don't know who or what that is.

But I do know it isn't God.

And that's all I have to say about this. For now, anyway.

Peace 2 u.
